The essence of Campagnolo's new Shamal wheels is also evident in the 2-Way Fit system, which allows riders to choose between the classic tyre - inner tube setup or a tubeless setup. The latter is made possible by the top bridge's lack of holes, eliminating the need for rim tape. For nipple positioning, the Shamal utilizes the proven MoMag system, which uses a magnet to guide the nipples into their slots.

The spokes are arranged according to the G3 spoke pattern, an iconic signature of Campagnolo production, which features seven arms with three parallel spokes spaced in a 2:1 ratio: two spokes on the most stressed side (the right side in the rear wheel due to the cassette ; the left side in the front wheel due to the brake rotor ), balanced by a single drive spoke on the opposite side. This patented system ensures the cyclist perfect tension balance and optimal stiffness for transferring power generated by the pedals.
