Interview with Michel Chareyron, president of Saint-Just Aventure

• Hello, Michel Chareyron to start, can you introduce yourself for our readers?

Hello, I have been a member of the club for 23 years and I have been its president for 17 years. I have been mountain biking for many years and I have also been riding on the road for 3 years.

• Can you present your club in a few words, how it works, the activities offered, the number of members, the competitions organized by the club...?

Our club is a section of the ASCM (Association Sports et Culture Municipale)

We are 35 members for two disciplines (MTB and ROAD), no competition, but we offer outings on Sundays but also during the week, Two groups on the road and often two on mountain bikes so that everyone can enjoy the practice of his sport on friendly outings.

• Next, we would like to know how the last year was at your club?

Of course, the health crisis has been there, it has slowed down the practice, but also the friendly and warm part of our monthly meetings suspended for almost two years; We missed the pleasure of meeting around an aperitif to talk about “BIKE” a lot.

• How does 2022 look for the club,what are your main objectives and what do you hope for this year? What events does the clubplan to organize next?

This year 2022 is marked by the resumption of a more or less normal life.
On May 22, we are organizing a road hike in partnership with CYRPEO, which is the first edition of ST JUST A VELO, with two 65 and 100 km courses on the program as well as a 15 km family course.
