The SRAM Rival 12-speed cassette must be mounted with a free XDR wheel body. It can also be mounted with a SRAM Force or RED transmission. For optimum operation, it is mandatory to use a Flattop chain.
Flattop technology allows the installation of a narrower chain, its operation is also quieter and has increased durability.
