The Abus Smiley 3.0 ACE LED kids Bike helmet is designed to offer optimal protection from a very young age. Its In-Mold construction combines a polycarbonate shell and shock-absorbing EPS foam for effective impact absorption. It incorporates lower edge protection, enhancing durability against scratches and minor impacts. Specifically adapted for children, the Smiley 3.0 provides relevant coverage of key areas (temples, back) without being bulky.

Comfort, ventilation and easy adjustment

Designed for comfortable extended wear, the Smiley 3.0 ACE LED features numerous ventilation openings connected by internal channels for efficient airflow, minimizing overheating. The Zoom™ adjustment system allows for easy helmet to a child's head shape, even with a mane or bun. Removable and washable padding ensures a soft and hygienic fit, while the integrated visor protects against sun, rain, and debris.

Active visibility , style and child-friendly features

The key feature of the Abus Smiley 3.0 ACE LED is its integrated rear LED light, providing enhanced visibility when children are riding at dusk or in low-light conditions. The LED is rechargeable, easy to use, and improves active safety. The helmet comes in a vibrant Royal Blue color, appealing to young riders. • Lower edge protection: The outer polycarbonate (PC) shell covers the lower edge of the helmet and protects against scratches, impacts and wear marks.
• Ponytail compatible: thanks to the height adjustment system, the helmet is also suitable for long hairstyles such as ponytails, buns or braids.
• Reflective sticker: for better visibility in the dark
• Insect protection net: keep flies and gnats away from your head without blocking helmet ventilation
• Rechargeable clip-on rear light: attaches to the back of the helmet for improved visibility - can be recharged with a micro-USB charging cable
• Three different lighting modes (rear light): Steady for continuous lighting, Power for even more intense continuous lighting, and Flash for rapid flashing lights
• Operating time per mode in h (min): depending on weather conditions and type of use, the operating time of the light is at least 2.5 hours in continuous mode and at least 6 hours in flashing mode.

• In-Mold Process: A manufacturing process in which the inner shock-absorbing material, made of expanded polystyrene (EPS), is directly injected into the outer polycarbonate (PC) shell, resulting in a durable and robust assembly.
