The Abus HUD-Y ACE is a city helmet designed to combine safety, comfort, and modern style. Its In-Mold construction combines a polycarbonate outer shell and EPS foam for increased impact resistance. The lower edge protection enhances its durability against scratches and everyday wear. Thanks to the Acti Cage™ system, the internal structure benefits from foam reinforcement, allowing for larger ventilation openings without compromising stability. An ideal helmet for intensive use, whether in the city or commuting by bike.

Comfort and a personalized fit

The HUD-Y ACE adapts to all head shapes thanks to the precise and easy-to-use Zoom™ Spin adjustment system. It is also compatible with ponytails and long hairstyles. The Trivider™ strap divider ensures stable positioning, while the Fidlock® magnetic closure allows for quick and easy operation, even with gloves. For comfortable everyday wear, the helmet features comfort pads, removable and washable padding, and a height-adjustable visor that effectively protects against wind, rain, and insects.

Enhanced visibility and safety

Designed for urban riding, the HUD-Y ACE features a rechargeable, IP44-certified magnetic rear light offering four lighting modes (Steady, Power, Pulse, Flash) and up to 15 hours of battery life in flashing mode. It fully recharges in approximately 2 hours via micro-USB. A reflective sticker further enhances visibility at night and in adverse weather conditions.
