Interview with Patrice Afflatet, owner and manager of the SCOTT DH Factory

I am the owner and manager of Team SCOTT DH Factory created in 2019 and following all the work done at the within the VVRacing since 2009.

I practice cycling in all its forms, in particular in "gravity" (DH, Enduro...) as much in the activities of the team and also in the club where I supervise MTB school for quite a few years.

We regularly do internships and test sessions for two to three days every three weeks. Athletes also have their physical preparation to do, this generally on the sidelines of team activities with their coach(es).

These preparations are done on different grounds, in the south of the France but also in Italy, Spain or even Portugal.

The team is made up of 12 "permanent" members, 5 athletes (Marine Cabirou (24), Dean Lucas (27), Dylan Levesque (25), Florent Payet (36) and Brendan Fairclough (34), four mechanics, a masseur/physio, a chef and the team manager.

The track record is quite substantial but we can sum it up with Marine who was Junior World DH Champion, winner of the Elite general classification in 2020 and winner of 5 World Cups. Brendan, Dean and Florent have already made several podiums and beautiful places at world level without forgetting victories in France Florent was 3^th at the 2017 World Championships. 20 in the world.
