The Topeak chain drift tool is a bike chain dismantling tool. It is designed to operate with 8, 9, 10, 11 and 12 speeds. It is also with all bike transmission brands, Shimano, Sram and Campagnolo.
It also has a hook to keep the chain in place during dismantling, which allows you to properly place the tool on chain links. This tool is compact and easy to carry for field repairs.
To optimize the dismantling of your chain or to install a quick attachment link, we recommend that you clean your chain using a degreaser. In particular, it removes dirt that can deteriorate your transmission prematurely.
After degreasing your bike chain, do not hesitate to apply chain lubricant. This adds the advantage of maintaining your transmission and fluidizing the channel passage on your cassette.
